Classes

Robert teaches three levels of classes which are individually tailored to suit each group of students. You will gain the knowledge and skills which will give you the confidence and the ability to recreate your favorite blooms in sugar.

Examples of workshop classes available from Sugar Flower Studio (Students will need to be experienced in wired sugar flowers to attend his courses)

Intermediate Flower head only class (Level 1)

Foliage only Class (Level 1)

Intermediate level (Level 2) which students are highly recommended to attend and complete before embarking on the advanced Master classes

Advanced Masterclass (Level 3) If a student needs guidance or advice on which level of course to attend then they may contact the host or Robert directly.

A class will be conducted with a maximum of 12 students so Robert can give consistent help and attention to each valued student. Once dates, class level and flower subjects have been mutually agreed upon, a non-refundable deposit will be payable to Sugar Flower Studio.

A list will be provided detailing which of Robert’s range of specific silicone veiners and cutters will be needed by the students to participate in each class.

Upon completion of each class Robert will present a personally signed Sugar Flower Studio Certificate to each student as a ‘Thank You’ and recognition for attending the course.

Intermediate class of flower heads (Level 1)

Flower subjects –  Anemone, Avalanche Rose, Bamboo Orchid, Black Baccara Rose, Cymbidium Orchid, Frangipani, Golden Wings Rose, Grand Prix Rose, Hydrangea, Lilac wonder Tulip, Lady’s Slipper Orchid, Memory lane Rose, Moth Orchid, Strelitzia (Bird of Paradise) Parrot Tulip, White Chocolate rose.

Foliage classes- Foliage subjects –  Acorns, Beech, Begonia Rex, Blackberry, Buttercup, Creeping Jenny, Grape Vine Leaves, Hazel, Hosta, Crimson King Maple, Jasmine, Rose, Ruscus, Tradescantia.

Intermediate class of smaller flowers (Level 2)

Flower subjects – Apple Blossom, Buttercups, Blackberries, Cherry Blossom, Clematis Purple star, Clematis Armandii, Cosmos, Daylily, Frangipani, Golden Wings Rose, Honeysuckle, Jasmine, Peach Blossom, Stephanotis.

Advanced masterclass (Level 3)

Flower subjects –   Apple Blossom, Avalanche Rose, Black Baccara Rose, White Chocolate Rose, Clematis Purple star, Clematis Armandii, Cherry Blossom, Cosmos, Cymbidium Orchid, David Austin Rose, Frangipani, Golden Wings Rose, Grand Prix Rose, Hibiscus, Hydrangea, Iris, Jasmine, Lisianthus, Magnolia, Memory lane Rose, Moth Orchid, Parrot Tulip, Peony, Stephanotis, Strelitzia (Bird of Paradise), Scabious, Tea Rose, Lilac wonder Tulip.

Foliage subjects –  Acorns, Beech, Begonia Rex, Blackberry, Buttercup, Creeping Jenny, Grape Vine Leaves, Hazel, Hosta, Crimson King Maple, Jasmine, Rose, Ruscus, Tradescantia.

Price upon request for an 8-hour intensive 1-2-1 day, Robert individually customizes the flower subjects and skill needs to suit each student from beginners to advanced. Lunch is provided each day, travel and accommodation assistance is available.
