SUMMARY:3 Day Sugar Flower Masterclass - The Blueberry Rose and Glacier variegated Ivy
DESCRIPTION:International Master sugar flower artist Robert Haynes will be teaching a 3-day class with us at the Sunflower Bakery Studio in Wedmore from the 1st – 3rd March 2019. The flower subjects are The Blueberry Rose & Glacier variegated Ivy. \nThis class is of an Intermediate to advanced level and students are required to have experience and knowledge of wired sugar flowers. Please bring along your passion and sense of humour…also your sugar flower making tools (If needed!)  (A minimal supplies list will be provided which most experienced sugar artists will already have) \nOn this masterclass you will learn how to advance your knowledge and experience to the next level of learning under Roberts tailored tuition. With Robert’s sugar flower experience\, knowledge base and attention to detail\, you’ll be amazed at how much he has to share. His passion for sugar crafting is so infectious; Robert will teach you how to cut freehand petals and foliage to give that botanically correct finished result. (transferable skills for any sugar flower or foliage). \n  \nNote: The photo of the Rose & Ivy are actual real plants to give you an idea of the subjects Robert will be teaching in sugar in the Masterclass. \nAnother skill to be covered in class will be how to apply edible colours to the very delicately individually veined sugar petals\, leaves and closed buds. You will also be making the centre cluster of stamens and bringing them to life with edible pollen. \nLight coloured garments are advisable in class to minimalize lint tarnishing the paste.
