DESCRIPTION:INTERNATIONAL SUGAR FLOWER ARTIST ROBERT HAYNES WILL BE TEACHING A 3 -DAY MASTER CLASS \nTHE FLOWER SUBJECTS ARE: \nThe Couronne d’or Peony\, calyx and leaves\, Poppy with leaves and seed pods \n \n \nThis class is of an Intermediate level\, students are required to have experience and knowledge of wired sugar flowers. Please bring along your passion and sense of humour…also your sugar flower making tools (A minimal supplies list will be provided which most experienced sugar artists will already have) \nlunch and refreshments will be included each day. Sugar Flower Studio specific silicone veiners & cutters will be available for purchase prior to class. \nTo reserve your place and for more detailed info\, please contact Inga Velickiene  \n(Places are limited to 12 students) \nOn this sugar flower class\, you will learn how to advance your knowledge and experience to the next level of learning under Roberts tailored tuition. With Robert’s sugar flower experience\, knowledge base and attention to detail\, you’ll be amazed at how much he has to share. His passion for sugar crafting is so infectious; Robert will teach you how to cut freehand petals and foliage to give that botanically correct finished result. (transferable skills for any sugar flower or foliage). \nAnother skill to be covered in class will be how to apply edible colours to the very delicately individually veined sugar petals\, leaves and closed buds. \nHow to colour Flower paste \nHow to achieve perfect\, thin petals & leaves \nCutting foliage free hand \nHow to make different petals and serrated leaves with no cutters \nCorrect use of veiners\, perfect central vein always… and more… \nHow to make seed heads & fully sugar covered wired stems \nHow to thicken stems also numerous tips on polishing stems \nHow to colour\, fade\, add depth\, over dust and painting detail (water colour) \nAll about glazing\, steaming \nUsing floral tape\, \nAdding depth and aging leaves \nHow to give movement to Foliage and petals \nDifferent design of arrangements \nAdding dew drops \n (Light colored garments are advisable in class to minimize lint tarnishing the paste. Please remove jewelry prior to class)
